The Union Co.’s Talune arrived from .< Auckland shortly before noon yesterday, and proceeded South during the evening. Passengers : Inward: Missos Avenall, Niven, Warren; Mesdames Bloomfield, Swanson and infant, Niven, Sandlant, Bobinson; Messrs Meyers, Grace, Gray, Bruce, Alloo, Crowther, By an, Skeet, D’Aroy, McDougal, Parnell, Ludlotv, Smith, Nelson, Baird, Boberts, Castels, and Captain Mitchell. Outward: Missos Colebrook, Green, Karauria, Johnstone (2), Beu; Mesdames Lewis, Bopiha, Tukurau and child, Tomoana, Pikepongi and 2 children, , Nepe, Terehia, Mauaki, Puhaia; Messrs Oliver, Baymond, Pukeake, Pikipongi, Hunt, Arbon, Wi Pere, Puhara, Pettie, 'Hood, Sharpen, H. Tomoana, and about 80 Natives. Messrs Huddart-Parker and Co.’s Westralia arrived from Southern ports shortly before 6 o’olock yesterday evening, and left for Auckland and Sydney late last . evening, taking the following passengers ■ from this port:—Misses Bennett, Booth, Hyland; Mesdames Booth, Goodley; Messrs Potter, Ifwerson, Chitty, Takale, Goodley, Aislabie, W. White. For Sydney, Mr Simmonds.
The schooner Awanui left Mercury Bay yesterday with a cargo of timber for this port.
The Herald arrived in Auckland at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and leavos there at 4 p.m. to day.
