DUNEDIN" MYSTERY.
FOUL PLAY SUSPECTED
(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night
There is no word of the missing man Osmond. There is reason to believe that a medical examination of the woman points to suspicious circumstances.
11.35 p.m.—Nothing fresh has tran-
spired with reference to the death of the young woman Agnes Campbell, and the mysterious disappearance of the young man John Osmond, who was keeping company with her. A post mortem on the. young won:un’s body 'was made, but the doc-
.ors are reticent in the matter
They have, however, forwarded the stomach and contents to Professor Black for analysis. The harbor was dragged to-day in the vicinity of the place where Osmond’s liat was picked up, but without result. Many theories are* cur-
rent, but they appear to be based on mere surmise.
