There wa3 a serious collision in tho harbor to-night between the steamers Mildura and Argus. The former was inward bound from Newcastle. The Aigus was outward bound to Calcutta with horses, and was so badly injured that she had to be beached at Goat Island. The Mildura’s bows woro stove in, but it is believed all her damage is above the water line. Tho Sultan of Johoro was a passongcr by tho Argus. There are no details available.
