Per Press Association., Auckland, last night, A report submitted to members at tho annual mooting of tho Auckland Racing Club on Monday states “ that during the past season we have held four meetings of 13 days, giving in added money a sum of £21,600, the totalisator investments amounting to £156,414, as compared with £164,714 for last year. The net profit carried to capital account is £1631, a falling off as compared with last year of £360, This is owing to a decrease iu the totaiisator receipts. Tho committee have written off £1789 (equal to 10 per cent.) for depreciation on the valuation of the club’s property.. . .
