About, fifty peop'e were present. DEATH OF AN OLD SETTLER. An old I-lawke’s Bay settler, Blr John I-lindmarsli, died this evening, aged S 3 years. Deceased came to Hawke’s- Bay about 25 years ago, taking up a large block of land, which he farmed for many years. He leaves a widow and several grownup sons and daughters.
