BOERS AND THE LABOR QUESTION. SEND OFF TO LORD MILNER. By Telegraph. Press Association. Copyright Received 10.30 p.m., Aug. 3. Capetown, Aug. 3. A meeting of representative Boers, including Louis Botha, ex-Generals Smuts, Viljoen, Kemp, and Celliers was held at Krugordorp. It was resolved that the labor available was insufficient for mining and agricultural demands. It deferred decision in regard to Asiatic labor until the Native Labor Commission has presented its report. „
One thousand of the most prominent Johannesburghers participated in a fare well demonstration to Lord Milner prior to his forthcoming visit to England, and expressed urgent hope that he would soon return and complete his great work.
