MACEDONIA.
ATTITUDE OF GREECE. .K ■ ' ■ By Telegraph. (Per B.M.S. Sonoma at Auckland.) San Francisco, July 16, At Athens the Greek Minister of For- , Affairs made the following statement • * to the correspondent of the Publishers’ Press regarding the attitude of the Greeks on the Macedonian question : “ The present revolutionists have forSfeited their claim to sympathy by resorting to dynamite outrages on neutral foreigners. What particularly forfeits Greek sympathy ' though, is that the wholo trouble is formed by Bulgarians against what we believe to be the wishes of the Macedonians themselves. A great majority of the Macedonians and Greeks are not Slavs, and have -■* no wish to be annexed to a Slavonic « country like Bulgaria. We believe the ' present movement will be abortive.”
