GIRLS’ HOCKEY MATCH.
(Per Press Association j Napier, last night.' The hockey match Kia Toa (Gisborne) v. Maroro (Hawke’s Bay) was played here to-day, and was won by the latter by four goals to nothing. A telegram received in Gisborne last evening stated that the majority of the Gisborne players had missed the steamer at Napier owrng to the Tarawera not being tendered in the evening.
