PRINCIPAL’S SALARY TO FAR EXCEED MR SEDDON’S.

Received 1.42 a.m., Aug, 18. Capetown, Aug. 17. The Pretoria commission appointed to inquire into the establishment of a Mining University recommends a site near Witwatersrand. The principal, to-be entirely responsible for technical work, is to be elected from candidates of the whole Empire. The minimum salary is L3OOO without residence.
