WHITE LABOR.
THE MAIL SERVICES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, Sept. 4. The Postmaster General to morrow advertises for tenders for a British-Australian mail service. Alternative offers are asked for services between Adelaide, Naples, or Brindisi; Adelaide, Colombo, or Aden ; Sydney and Vancouver, calling at New Zealand and Honolulu ; or Brisbane and Vancouver, calling at Fiji and Honolulu ; or between ports in Australia and a port in England which tho tenderer may specify, the service to be weekly or fortnightly each way ; tenderers to commence the service on February 1, 1905, excepting the Sydney-Vancouver service, which commences in'May of that year. Only white labor shall be employed, and contractors must provide tho host refrigerating and cold storage plants.
