A PRESENTATION.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Mr F. Baume, M.H.R., has been pre*. sented with a gold watch and chain, subscribed by a few of his friends. Mr Baume disclaimed having as yet merited the present politically, but he was very proud' to receive it as testimony of friendship. He did not regard the meeting as a political demonstration, but as purely a friendly reception.
