MR REYNOLDS TO ARRIVE ON SATURDAY.

Last evening Mr James East received a telegram from Mr Leslie Reynolds, who is at present at Nelson, stating that he would arrive in Gisborne on Saturday morning nest to report on the Waimata river as a source of water supply for Gisborne, as arranged with tho Ratepayers’ Association. Mr Reynolds would have been here earlier, but for the fact that ho returned to Wellington direct from Sydney, instead of coming via Gisborne as he originally intended to do. Whilst he is in the district it is to be hoped his opinion will be sought on the several other probable sources.
