SHOOTING FATALITY.
(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, last night.
John Gear, a young man, son of a settler at Tuapeka West, went out this morning to shoot rabbits for his dogs. Not returning search was made, and his body was found alongside a gate, 6hot through the heart. It is surmised that ho was getting over the fence when his gun accidentally went off.
