SWAGGER’S DEATH.
Per Press Association. Napier, last night.
An elderly man named Thomas Alex., ander, a swagger, was found on Saturday evening lying on the road about five miles from Patoka. He was in a fit and was frothing. He was taken to the Patoka station, where he died on Sunday morning. An inquest was held to-day, and a verdict of death from natural causes was returned. It is believed he has relatives at Timaru. , - *
