A PROMINENT MAN KILLED BY A NEGRO.

Andrew I-laswell Green, known as ■tlie father of the Great New York scheme, lias been shot dead on his doorstep, by a negro named Williams. The murderer was a discharged valet, who made a rambling story of grievances against his late master.
