Lord Curzon has arrived at Karachi. Indian opinion considers the results of his tour a substantial strengthening of British influence in the Persian Gulf. A great impression was everywhere produced by Lord Curzon’s reaffirming with exceptional authority that Britain would not admit any disturbance pf the status quo. ___________
