AUCKLAND HOSPITAL.
THE COMMISSION’S REPORT. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night.
The report of the Hospital Commission oame before the Hospital Board for consideration to-day. A long discussion took place on motions to adjourn esnsideration. On those being lost Mr Bollard, M.H.R., asked leave to retire, as he etrongly protested against going on, the report having just been reoeived by the Board. Another member also retired. A motion referring the recommendations of the Commission as regards sanitary arrangements and bath-room accommodation to a committee was oarried.
Some discussion took place on tho Commission’s report on the fees question, several members contending that oertain statements in the report were not accurate. It was stated that more feeß per head per day were paid than in any other large hospital in the oolony. Still the poor were not harassed.
