(Per Press Association.) I Lyttelton, last night. I The Lyttelton regatta was boid to-day lin splendid weather. About 8000 people I were present. The Akaroa Ciub won the speoial prize for the club gaining most points; the Union (Christobuteb) won the i senior pairs; Akaroa tbe senior double aoulls ; Samuels (Avon) the senior single aoulls; and E. Woodill (Akaroa) the youths’ single sculls. There was only one sailing race—that for third oloss yachts—whioh was won by K. Kenneth’s Waterwitoh (sor»tab). W. Holmes’ A 1 (16£min) second. Tbe submarine explosion was very successful.
