DUNEDIN NEWS.
.(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, last night. The directors of the Standard Inauranoe Company, in their annual report, state that the income for the year, including the balance brought forward, was £IOB.BIB, and the expenditure £83,652, leaving a balance of £20,166. From this an unknown dividend was paid, absorbing £2812 10s. The directors have added £SOOO to the reserve, and recommended the payment of a dividend of 7k per cent per annum for the half-year and a bonus of 2£- per cent, loaving £7666 to be carried forward.
The Hon, J. Rigg addressed a meeting this evening of members of the Labor Political League.
