PBOBATION ALLOWED IN AN ASSAULT CASE.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. In the Supreme Court to-day a youth named Charles Alfred Howard, charged with indecent assault, was admitted to probation for 12 months on the grounds of previous good character.
