Auckland, Saturday;Oq the arriyal of tbo San Francisco maill steamer from Sydney, the detectives' arrested Moses Ooben and his daughter,. Becky CoheD, on a warrant. The former was charged with leaving New SouthWales within four months of sequestration: of his estate, with £SOO whi(|h should havebeen divided among his creditors. His; daughter, who was fashionably dressed* was charged with receiving £IOO- with intent to assist in defrauding her father'sr creditors The pair were remanded foe eight days, 1 to. await an escort from Sydney. The poiioe objected to bail, on the ground that the man was fleeing from his credit.
