SAVED FROM DEATH.
[(Pec Press Association.) Christchurch, last night.
A man, who was a visitor from the country, was standing on the tramway track in Cathedral Square to-day,. when a car ran into him. The coweatcher caught him and h 6 rebounded out on to the traok again, but was dragged clear by the guard beforo the wheels could reach him.
