.(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, last night.
There wa3 a large gathering of factory managers, dealers, exporters, and others this morning to give a send-off to Mr A. A. Thornton, Government dairy produce grader, who has been transferred to Auckland. A purse of soveie'gns was presented, and all interested in the industry who were present spoke in the highest terms of the work done by Mr Thornton.
