A deputation of Civil servants waited upon Sir Joseph Ward this aftornoon to thank him for tho introduction of the Civil Sorvioo Superannuation Bill, and to urge upon him tho wiah of all offioora that tho Bill should bsoomo law this session. Sir Josoph Ward replied that the measure was a very neoOßsary and important one, and ho assured tho deputation that he would use his best efforts to givo offoot to tho wishes of offioors by having tbo Aot i plaoed upon the Statute Book before tho present Parliament was dissolved.
