WEST’S PICTURES

THE BBESCIANS. To-night at His Majesty's Theatre West’s pictures and the Bresciant’ popular combination will make their first appearance in Gisborne. The programme is an attractive one, and will open with a series of the latest photographs of the King and Queen. Then a series of pictures of Italy will be shown, First a panorama of Venice, with the gondoliers piloting their craft through the streets of palaces, past St Mark’s, with its fiooks of fluttering pigeons, and the Bridge of Bighs. 'From Venice, f;ao scene is changed to Vesuvius in full eruption, apd Home. Nestt will be a microscopic , subject illustrative of the ways of the bee. TheD follows a fine example of animated photography, a stereo scopic panorama of Barcelona Next will be shown a Beene from the Wild West, and some comedy films, with maiy other views, the whole pictorial programme closing with the fantastic story entitled “ A Trip to the Sun.” Tho Bresciaus in their musical section will givo a programme of orchestral selections, part' songs, vocal and instrumental solos, with comedy Bketohes.
