The leader of the Opposition declared that Parliamentary history disclosed no more politically immoral bargain than that which was mado between the Government and the Labor caucus. The motion was carried by 25 to 15, Mr Johnson asked Mr Deakin whether, having in view the faot that the concerted action of tho Government end Labor party in gagging the people’s representatives had destroyed the fundamental principles of Parliamentary government and substituted coeroion by irresponsible caucus, would the Prims Minister advise the Governor-General to dissolve Parliament in order to obtain the opinion of the electors ?
