Examination of tho tram oai: shows that tho brake’s meohanism was in good ordor. -Tho explanation is behoved to be that applying the brakes locked the wheels, which skidded on tho greasy rails, travelling 50 miles an hour at tho moment of collision. Tho driver had his leg broken, besides other injuries.
