HUSBAND’S NARROW ESCAPE IN TRAM COLLISION.
WIFE’S jDEATH CAUSED BY SHOOK.
1 (Per Press Association.) . ... Auckland, last night. As a trap driven by Mr W. Lee was coming around tho chrnor cf Market road into Remuera roid it collided car bouni for town. Leo escaped* sjury, but tha horse was killed. Lee,; 1 hie return homo, told his wife of-tho accident. He then went out, and on his return found his wife lying on the floor iu au unconscious condition. He summoned medical aid at once, but Mrs Lee did not recover consciousness, and died at nine o'clock this morning. It is believed Ltbat death was hastened by the shock on hearing of her husband’s narrow escape in the collision with tho tiamoar.
