The government geologist after inspouting tho mining .districts in tho Korthorn Teriitory, and putting down bote’, reports that although thousands of pounds have been spent in mining, boros show gold in ovory oaso from 800 to 500 feet down. There nro good shows of oopper and tin, but it is ossoutially a gold country.
