PRESERVATION FROM INDUSTRIAL SCHEMES.
By ; telegraph, Press Afis’n, Copyright Received 4.80 p.m., Feb, 17. Now Yotk, Feb. 17. Mr Elibu.Root and Mr Durand, British Ambassador at Washington, are conferring on the best means of preserving the Niagara Falls from industrial enterprise. Io is probable that a treaty will be arranged.
