Yesterday afternoon bowlers mustered well at the above olub’s green, some interesting games being played. Chief interest oentred in the semi-final of the Handioap Single?, in whioh Martin defeated Nasmith (juo)., 'The following are the results of the games played
HANDICAP SINGLES. Martin 25 Nasmith, jor 20 Martin led throughout, and took no risks, having a very substantial lead up to the 15 :b head, being 22 to 6. Nasmith on the remaining heads soored well, the gams ending as above. Martin conoeded six points to his opponent. The final remains to be played between Martin and Colley. CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES. Entries are being received for the Championship Singles, whioh olose on Thursday next.
