PUBLICAN.AND CONSTABLE'S DAUGHTER DROWNED.

.(Per Press Association.} (Sra* Wairoß, Saturday, Warena Torr, aged five years, the, daughter of Constable Torr, of Frasertown,. whilst playing on the river bank yesterday afternoon, fell in and was drowned before assistance oould bo rendered. Tne body I has been recovered. James Fietoher, hotelkeeper at maru, left home yesterday to do some fencing, and not having relurned at noon, £ a party went to look for him, but could not find him. A Bearoh patty traced footsteps to the river and found - his hat. This morning he was fonnd drowned, his body beiDg recovered. An inquest will be held.
