(Per Press Association.) Tirnaru, last night. A disastrous fire occurred at Geraldine at 4 o’okck this morning, when the Canterbury Farmers’ Co-operative Association’s plaoe of business, together with all Btock, was completely destroyed. The building is said to have beeu left safe when the employees, who had been back working, left at 9.30 last night, and it is suspected that the fire was deliberately caused by some person, The insurances total about £6OO, all with the Canterbury Farmers’ Marino Insurance Co, It is Impossible yet to estimate the loss to the Association.
