mss ASSOCIATION Thamc-s, last night. Julius Uoria was found at the Tararu creek, near Thames, in a serious condition, suffering from exposure and general illness. He was conveyed to Thames,
but died at the local hospital shortly after admission. Deceased had had a most adventurous career- Jt is reported ilu;.t at one time lie was worth several thousand pounds.
Obituary; Mrs Murphy, relict of Sergt. Murphy. Thames. Deceased was a highly respected old resident of the district.
A rough estimate of the kauri logs brought down to the booms during the recent rains is 10,000, of a value of about one hundred thousand pounds.
