SHIPPING CASUALTIES.
PRESS ASSOCIATION Wellington, last night. The strainers Putiki and Moa are ashore at Foxton. The former is espeoted to be floated to day. The Putiki’s cargo is being jettisoned. No dotails cf the oasualty are to hind, The vessels are owned by Mr Cba-les Seager, of Woffington. As iho Un'on Company’s steamer Pateena was being moved from one berth to anoihsr at the Queen’s wharf to-day she crushed into the little steamer Aorere, bortbed at the wharf, and crushed her timbers to such an extent that tbe smaller vi mel had to be beached to prevent her sinking.
