CYCLING AND POLICE.

(To the Editor of tlie Times.) Sir,-I entirely disagree with “Not- a Victim,” writing under the above heading, and trust- the police will continue to do their duty by running in all cyclists using footpaths and not having lights after darky to the risk of life and limb of the long .suilering pedestrians, whom it must be remembered number 10 to 1 with the cyclists in this" town. The contention about women and perambulators (•■ Not a Victim” must be a crusty old bachelor) and drunken men is absurd, and can be no grounds for the law being transgressed by cyclists, many of whom are most incessant and determined law-breakers.—l am etc., OWNER OF A BICYCLE.
