Tbo ’Wacrcnga-a-hika College grounds presented an animated appearanco yostorday aftornoon, on the occasion of the annual combined School Sports, lucre was a large and representative gathering of tlio general public; many oE whom took advantago of a brilliant day, to enjoy a drivo out, while othors were catered lor by an excellent train service. Tho arrangements on tho ground wore under the capable direction of tbo Hon. Sec., Mr 1. Kinder, ably assisted by a willing band j of helpers, and genoral satisfaction was expressed at tho expoditious manner in which a programme of seventy-two events was got through.
