RIVAL MEETINGS.

A disorderly mass meeting ensued at Wanderers’ Hall, Johannesburg, summoned at the Mayor’s instauoe. A resolution, supported by Arohdeaoon Furse and the Riv. Burnett, Wesleyan Minister, was carried by a majority demanding the publication of Mr Justioe Buohnell’s report on Chinese labor and the evidenoe. Messrs Cresswell and R. L. Outhwaite, of the Executive of the Transvaal National Association, held a counter meeting at Market Square, aud resolved that the proper remedy for the Chinese trouble was repatriation on the expiry of the existing contracts.
