MYSTERIOUS DEATH. 1 i Press Association. 1 DUNEDIN. last night, An inquest that had been adjourned i. was hold to-day concerning tho death j of Robert Francis Smith, seaman on H.M.S. Pioneer, whose body was found in the harbour on December 20. At the former inquiry, the medical evidence was to the effect that the man had apparently died from the effects of blows on the head by some blunt instrument. After further evidence the jury returned a verdict to the effect that death had been caused by injuries to the head, but that there was not sufficient evidence to show how the injuries had boon re- - ceived. s e TARANAKI NEWS. e s NEU PLYMOUTH, last night. 2 The Rev.
