At the inquest held touching the death of Mrs DeFillipps, the medical evidence was to the effect that death was due to deceased having a convulsive fit while under chloroform for the purpose of having some teeth extracted, and that there was nothing to indicate that chloroform should not have been used. The jury brought in a verdict that no blame syas attachable to anyone. DUNEDIN, last night. Mr Sullivan, basket maker, of Dunedin, collapsed on the railway station on arrival from Christchurch by the first express to-night, and expired a few minutes afterwards in an ante-room. It is understood that he suffered from heart diseaso. Deceased was a man well advanced in years, and was a widower.
