CRICKET.
The match between Union and C., S., and Co. took place yesterday afternoon. Pasley, winning the toss from Lang, went in to bat. Collins (68) played splendid cricket until caught off Lang, Robinson being next best with 16, none of the rest doing much. Union started with Lang and Tattorsall, but after making 8 Lang was splendidly caught by Collins one-lianded. O’Hara hit out splendidly for 32, in which were included eight boundaries. Grant also batted well for 14, but Union was defeated by 26 runs. Tlio scores were: Union. J.
