POVERTY BAY NATIVE LANDS.
TRUSTEE CHANGED
In the latest Gazette, appears a notice changing the trustee of certain land hold by Wiremu Pore and others. 111 1899 Mr W. G. Foster, of Wellington, was appointed trustee to the lands held by Wiremu, Ampere., Hotekia, and Monaroa leio and Riria Mauaranui and Roi'opota Raiigikohera, all of Gisborne. Since the date of that appointment Mauarnmii and Rangikolicra have died. Wiremu Peru is the successor to the titles.of Mauaranui, and the infant children of Raiigikohera, for whom Hotekia Fere is guardian and trustee, arc the successors to his land. 011 the requisition of the present owners of the land the Governor has appointed Air H. C. Jackson, of Gisborne, to the position of trustee. The land affected comprises about •43,238 acres, in the following blocks: Puliatikotiko, Maimkawliititiki, Poututii. Makanri, Tnngihanga, Tutoko. Ngakoroa, Wliataupoko, Kaiti, Makamti, Ptikepapa, Ruangarelm, To ICoutu, Aliirau, Hangaroamatawai, Okahuatia, Mangatu, Ivaraka, Repongaerc, Rangatira, and Pakakoro.kono; and a section in the Wnimatn survey district, and six lots in Gisborne township.
