HOCKEY.

Tho Poverty Bay Hockey Association met lust night. It was decided that the season should open to-mor-row. AA’est End will play Kia Kali;', and City will play Te Rail. Mr. Bushnell will act as referee for the AVcst End game, and Mr. Pavitt for’ the City game. Owing to twogrounds not being availablo, the two matches will have to ho played on one ground. The AVest End game. will start at 2.30 sharp, and the other game when it is completed.
