A chance visit to the Christchurch Exhibition, a few weeks ago, was the nieans.of bringing about a meeting between two brothers who had not set eyes upon each other for forty years. The elder brother left Dumfriesshire-at the age of nineteen and, settled in New Zealand, leaving behind a younger brother aged 11 years. The latter subsequently came to this colony and took up his abode in Dunedin, and on visiting the Exhibition recently lie had the felicity of meeting Ins brother, whom he had never seen since he left the parental roof forty years ago to seek his fortune in this colony, the elder brother having been engaged in pastoral pursuits in Canterbury for many years past,
