Tho Tvsor steamer Nhvaru leaves Napier to-night for Gisborne to load for London. . . The s.s. Toroa »s expected tins morning from south. Tho U.S.S. Co.’s Manaka u. ex pected about Friday from Bluft. The schooner Kaeo (Cupt. J. Skinner) which arrived at 4 P-m yes.terday, had a long tom Auckland. Leaving there on T nd.> morning, 3rH inst.. with a light wind to N.E., Kawau was passed that evening and as the weather was th.dk and dirty, tho captain anchored foi the ni'd.t Coming away on ontntclaj morning, light head winds were experienced right across the Bay of Plentv. Hawai was reached on the Tuesday morning and a quantity oi cargo was landed. The vessel proceeded to .Hick’s Bay the following evening and left for Te Araroa on Thursday night. It took all day Friday to work Port Awanui, where. 40 tons had to be discharged. A very heavy sea was running all day Saturday and the schooner sheltered at Waipiro. On Sunday Tokomaru was worked and a return trip was made to Waipiro to get as much as possiblo that day, there being a quantity of wool to ship. Tuparoa was worked on Monday and the wind changed to southerly. The next day it was blowing hard and the vessel was unable to get back to Waipiro. On the following morning the sea was very heavy and Captain Skinner was com-j polled to put back to To Araroa for shelter, but he had to clear out from there and return to the Bay of Plenty and lay at Cape Runaway and Oreti for two or three days. Beautiful weather was experienced there, the sky being clear and the sea calm. An attempt was ma.de on the Saturday to work the coast but the . sea was still heavy, and the vessel returned, to Oreti and lay there all clay Sunday. He came down again the next clay and picked up the schooner Gisborne at Te Areroa, the wind having changed to W. On Wednesday Waipiro was reached and he lay there till Friday morning as there was a very heavy roll, interfering with the discharge of the cargo. The sea was calm next'clay and a quantity of .wool was shipped, finishing by noon. The vessel left Tolaga at 3 a.m. yesterday and landed cargo " at. Pakarae and Turihnua, and left at 1 p.m. for Gisborne. The vessel brought the following /Cargo:— lo,oooft. timber for Messrs. H. J. Poacoc’ke and Co. and J. H. Ormond, 130 bales wool, 20 bundles skins, 300 cases empties, 200 cases kerosene, 50 tons general. The Captain expects to leave again about Friday or Saturday. The TJ.S.S. Co.’s Moura arrives from Napier and south to-morrow morning and leaves for Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Waikare returns from Auckland to-morrow afternoon and leaves late for south. The N.Z. Shipping Co.’s R.M.S. Turakina arrived at Plymouth on the 24th inst. from New Zealand.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.’s s.s. Delphic left Auckland at 4.20 p.m. yesterday for Gisborne to load for the Home market.
