ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
DETERMINED ACTION.

WAIHI, yesterday. F. Boyer, manager of the Wn Workers’ Co-operative Society, made a determined attempt at suicide, being found on Saturday- night with three bullet wounds .in his bead. Ho used a toy revolver. Two bullets were extracted. He confessed to having taken strychnine prior to the act, and it is assumed took nil overdose. He is reported to be sinking.
