SERIOUS SHAKE IN JAMAICA

United Press Association—Copyright . Received June 14, 9.47 p.m. NEW YORK, June 14. Word from Kingston states that an earthquake from the south-east was especially severe at Port Royal, desti oying the walls of temporary buildings under construction there. Duiing a dagh for the open 40 of the Royal Garrison Artillery and Royal Engineers were injured, eleven seriously. Fifteen were conveyed to the hospital. The panic was intensified by a curious turbulence of the sea near the coast. Six soldiers of the West India regiment were injured while making a similar dash.

DISTURBANCE IN CHILI

Received June 14, 9.47 p.m. VALPARAISO, June 14. All earthquake destroyed a number of houses and two railway bridges.at Valdina. Five persons were killed.
