PROPOSAL by tie Cook County Council,to raise a Loan for the Erection of a Cart Bridge across the Pakarae River, and the Construction of the connecting roads. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £3OO0 —to be obtained in terms of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901. The security to be given will be an Annual Special Rate of OneTwentieth of a Penny in the £1 on the ratable value of all ratable property in the Tolaga Riding. The rate to be leviable for a period of 41 years, the rate of interest to be 4 per cent per annum. , , .... It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the Loan and the interest for one year, out of the Loan monies.
