„.-A cablegralfl 'from Melbourne announces the death of Dr. Robert Lamb, late of the New Hebrides. It is "understood that Mr. Thos. A. Coleman is to be appointed Commissioner of the East Coast Trust Lands Board in succession to the late Mr. J. A. Harding. A Press Association telegram from Dunedin states.that Mr. G. B. Nicholls, the well-knoivn temperance advocate, leaves to-day for Sydney, having been engaged by the New South Wales Alliance to take part in the campaign in connection with the local option poll in August.
