LOSS ESTIMATED AT EIGHT.

Press Association. AUCKLAND, last night. Inspector Cullen has received a tologram from Constablo McCarthy, at Kawliia, who estimated that eight persons wore drownod in tho wreck'of the Kin Ora. So far no bodies have been recovered. It has been decided to hold an inquiry into tile wreck of tlio vessel in Auckland. It was thought at first that it would bo held at Now Plymouth, but most of tho witnesses are hero, and it has. boon decidod to hold it here. Tho date is not yet fixed.
